Flowerbeds overflowing with colours, animals blending into the city landscape with pigeons, ducks, exotic birds, chickens and chicks, rabbits, sheep, goats, trout and carp … Colmar’s going to be buzzing with fun!
In the heart of the old city, two Easter and Spring markets await you on its emblematic squares. Exhibitors, installed in their small colourful small shack, display their original and authentic products with a focus on regional products during the Spring season.
Plants, beauty products, jewellery, toys, tableware and ceramics … as well as numerous delicious Alsatian specialities, fine wines, March beers, charcuterie, cheeses and many other delights which make your taste-buds go crazy! For this Easter weekend, you cannot avoid the rabbits and chocolate eggs as well as the traditional Lamala (in Alsace means “Easter lamb” - a traditional cake made in a lamb-shaped mould). Fun street events and craft exhibitions are on show throughout your whole stroll around the city to celebrate the return of Spring.
